1. Accommodation descriptions: All Way-Points sites feature quality housing designed for your comfort and enjoyment. Though the facilities differ from site to site, they are standardized according to the descriptions below. All housing comes with linens including bath towels at no extra charge.
Hotel Style housing offers private rooms for 2 people with a private bathroom in the room. Some sites may offer these rooms as single occupancy for an additional fee. Retreat Style housing offers private rooms shared by no more than three individuals. Bathrooms are shared by more than one room and may or may not be directly attached to the room. Bunkhouse Style housing offers shared living in larger rooms with multiple beds (possibly bunks) and a shared bathroom.
2. Event Prices Prices vary depending on several factors including program costs, housing and food costs, leadership costs and other factors. Event prices include: all meals, program costs, transportation during the program, bedding, and housing (some programs offer housing upgrades for additional costs). Event prices DO NOT include: Transportation to and from the site, shuttles from airport,special diet requests, other special requests, or housing upgrades if available.
3. Registration and Cancellation Policies Registrations are handled individually by each event host site. Descriptions on this Way-Points site will take you to the event host site for additional site specific information and registration. Deposits: 50% of event cost is required to reserve your space in the event. Balance: Full balance due 45 days before the event start date. Forms of Payment: All event host sites will accept credit cards and online registration. If you need to pay by check, please contact the event host site directly.
Cancellation/Refund Policies If the event host site cancels the event: all monies paid by the participant will be fully refunded. Site must cancel by 42 days/6 weeks out if registrations are too low to run a quality event or other circumstances arise to make hosting the event unviable.
If an event host site cancels the event within the time frame listed above, the site is only liable for returning all monies paid to the site for the event. All other costs to the participants (airfare, travel, purchases, travel insurance, etc) are the responsibility of the participant. Sites may offer housing only at a reduced rate if the program is cancelled but this is not guaranteed.
If the individual participant cancels:
- 45 days before the start of the event, all but $50 will be refunded to the participant.
- Less than 45 days and more than 6 days before the start of the event, 50% of the event price will be refunded. If 50% or less of the event fee has been paid at that point, no refund will be made.
- 6 days or less before the start of the event, no refund will be made. All monies paid by participant will be forfeit.
Appeals to the registration and cancellation policies need to be made directly to the event host site. The event host site will make all decisions using these policies as their guide. Cancellations by participant and site must be made in writing and postmarked within the time frames listed in these policies.
