  • How do I register?
    Registration and Cancellation Policies Registrations are handled individually by each event host site. Descriptions on this Way-Points site, will take you to the event host site for additional site specific information and registration. Deposits: 50% of event cost is required to reserve your space in the event. Balance: Full balance due 45 days before the event start date. Forms of Payment: All event host sites will accept credit cards and online registration. If you need to pay by check, please contact the event host site directly.
    What happens if I need to cancel my reservation?
    If the individual participant cancels: %uF0A7 45 days before the start of the event, all but $50 will be refunded to the participant. %uF0A7 Less than 45 days and more than 6 days before the start of the event, 50% of the event price will be refunded. If 50% or less of the event fee has been paid at that point, no refund will be made. %uF0A7 6 days or less before the start of the event, no refund will be made. All monies paid by participant will be forfeit. Appeals to the registration and cancellation policies need to be made directly to the event host site. The event host site will make all decisions using these policies as their guide. Cancellations by participant and site must be made in writing and postmarked within the time frames listed in these policies.
    What happens if the site cancels the program I have registered for?
    If the event host site cancels the event: all monies paid by the participant will be fully refunded. Site must cancel by 42 days/6 weeks out if registrations are limited or other circumstances arise to make hosting the event unviable. If an event host site cancels the event within the time frame listed above, the site is only liable for returning all monies paid to the site for the event. All other costs to the participants (airfare, travel, purchases, etc) are the responsibility of the participant. Sites may offer housing only a reduced rate if the program is cancelled but this is not guaranteed.

    All Way-Points host sites are members of the Presbyterian Church Camp and Conference Association (PCCCA). For more information about this organization, visit www.pccca.net.
    What faith experiences can I expect?
    All Way-Points programs offer time for spiritual reflection, personal bible study, and Christian fellowship. Event descriptions will tell you if you can expect a deeper or more intentional focus on spiritual practices.
    What are the common/required elements of Way-Point programs?
    All Way-Points programs offer time for spiritual refection, quality adult housing, an experienced event host, and a commitment to top-notch experiences.
    How are sites and programs chosen for participation in Way-Points?
    Way-Points sites are self-chosen. To retain membership, Way-Points host sites must continue to prove customer satisfaction, safety, and a commitment to quality.
    How do I get to the events?
    Transportation to and from the event host sites is your responsibility. Host sties can provide transportation options and can recommend travel plans. Some sites will offer shuttle service from airports for a fee. See event descriptions and host site websites for specific travel information.
    Who do I call for event questions?
    All questions should be directed to the event host site. Site contact information can be found on this site and at the host site%u2019s website.
    How do I praise or complain about a site or program in Way-Points besides directly to the event host site?
    Any comments on the quality of experiences at Way-Points events or sites can be directed to info@way-points.org. All comments will be investigated and addressed.
    What discounts are available?
    No discounts are available through the Way-Points cooperative. Individual event host sites may provide scholarship funds and discounts. Each site sets their own policy on discounts.
    What age requirements are there for events?
    Participants must be a minimum of 18 years old unless they are accompanied by parents or grandparents for intergenerational events. All participants are expected to behave in a courteous, respectful manner for the safety and enjoyment of other guests.
    What about insurance?
    All event host sites provide insurance to cover liabilities related to the events. We encourage all participants to acquire travel, health and other insurances in advance of the trip start date.
    Are event host sites inspected?
    All event host sites have been approved for operation in, and inspected for health and other concerns by their State and local governing organizations. Some sites have taken additional steps to become accredited by the American Camp Association (www.acacamps.org).
    Behavior Policy
    All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a safe and friendly manner. Foul language, inappropriate sexual advances, excessive consumption of alcohol (not all sites allow alcohol consumption), any use of illicit drugs, and any other derogatory or intolerant behavior will not be tolerated. Any guest asked to leave for behavior issues forfeits any refund or accommodation.
